Lake Marie

There are several routes that lead to the Medicine Bow Peak in the Snowies. One we hiked a few years back was the short route that starts at Lewis Lake; it is a 3.2 mile hike round trip.

This year we just wanted to get to a scenic lunch spot instead of hiking the entire trail. We started at Lake Marie and settled on a bench that provided a nice view of Marie Lake. It is a 6 mile hike (round trip) to get to the peak from here.
