WPC: Mornings

My favorite mornings are spent on the trail in order to catch the morning light, avoid the crowds, and get off the mountains before thunderstorms roll in. Here are pictures of three different morning hikes in Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado in June 2016.

On the way to Timberline Falls ….

Near the beginning of Deer Mountain summit hike ….

We started this hike at theย  Bear Lake Trailhead, took a break at Bierstadt Lake, and continued on to the Park & Ride.

  3. Gorgeous photos, Doris. I’ve been to this park, and it is huge and lovely. We saw bighorn sheep close-up at Horseshoe Bend. How fortunate for you to be there often.
